Junior Boys Calf Roping
When the calf comes out of the chute the cowboy starts his run. |

The cowboy has to be able to control the horse, twirl his lasso and concentrate on the running calf. |
| In this event the cowboy lets go of the rope after the calf is roped. This makes sure that the little calf is not hurt. The winner is the one with the shortest amount of time that it takes to rope a calf. |  |

See? This little calf is safe and headed for the barn. |
