This is pure style.

When a calf is roped, the rider lets go of the rope so it won't hurt the calf.

We don't want the calf to get hurt.

This is where all of the practice pays off. If you look closely, you can see the cowboy letting go of the rope.

 

These 8 to 13 year old boys ride big and beautiful horses. Wow! Beautiful!
