This is what it looks like out the front of the tractor. First you start with grass or alfalfa that has been cut and raked into long rows.  These rows are grass.

You go down one way... Next the rancher uses the big tractor to pull the baler along the rows of cut grass. ...and then you go the other way, all day long.

 

The grass is fed into the baler. The baler scoops the grass into a big round chamber.  There are two big wheels that look like circular saw blades that help scoop the up the grass. The "circular saw blades" are actually made out of rubber.
