When cows graze in a pasture they have to tear the grass by moving their heads.  They don't have any cutting teeth in the front of its upper jaw, so they can't just bite the grass off.

Cracked corn

The cracked corn is poured into a tire that is turned inside out. The tire is nailed to a board. Cracked corn for young cattle.

The calves love cracked corn.

The salt block is put into an old car wheel to keep it out of the dirt. The cattle lick the salt blocks whenever they want to.

Salt blocks can also have vitamins and minerals.

This is the same milk that you buy at the grocery store. Calves get milk from their mothers.  Cows hold their milk in their "udders".  If their mothers don't make enough milk, then someone has to bottle feed them.
