From Poult To Perfection

Congratulations to Jeffrey and Jennifer for raising two beautiful white turkeys.  They started out with poults that would fit in your hand.  When the birds were small Jeffrey would carry them around on his shoulder.

The turkeys are named Thanksgiving and Christmas.  They were born on the 4th of July. Click on either picture to enlarge it.

These are the first birds that they have ever raised.  They did an outstanding job in teaching the birds to become social animals.  By spending many hours with them when they were young, petting and playing with them, they actually became "lap" birds until the birds became too big.
