Lucky Jack is served a fresh salad of new spring grass.  During spring and summer the horses munch on the new grass all day long.

When the snow is on the ground, their food is covered up and hard to get to. Holly gives two grateful horses some dry hay.

Rosie is usually a very polite lady. She was thirsty and didn't want to get her feet muddy.

Just like the cows do, horses like to lick the salt block to get extra minerals in their diet.
